Helen Greathouse Manor offers assistance in activities of daily living in 86 private, one-bedroom apartments. Three daily meals are provided to residents as well as other basic services, such as daily housekeeping, weekly linen service and personal laundry service. Nurses are on site 24 hours a day and residents are checked at frequent intervals. Residents do not require continuous nursing care and an emergency call system is provided for every room and every resident.
Assisted living allows residents to live as independently as possible even though they may need help with personal care. Activities are designed for residents who may be physically challenged. Helen Greathouse Manor is licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Services available through private funding only.

A: Yes, transportation to non-emergency doctor appointments may be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance of the appointment based on space available. It is recommended that space is reserved for transportation services at the time the appointment is made.
