Like you, staying fit and healthy is the goal of many Manor Park residents. They take advantage of free membership in the Manor Park Wanda Campbell Fitness Center, where a trainer provides personal instruction and coaching.

A Healthy Lifestyle

Living a healthy lifestyle is easy and fun at The Village at Manor Park! At Manor Park's Wanda Campbell Fitness Center the focus is on balanced fitness including both strength training and aerobic exercise! Due to the popularity of "The Club," the facility has doubled in size since its inception in 1998. "The Club's" health promotion program involves the use of specially designed Nautilus exercise equipment and a personal trainer. Dance and other exercise classes are also available for community residents.

Activities

Barney Greathouse Activity Center is the hub of activity for those living in the independent living side of the Manor Park Continuum. A monthly calendar of activities offers a full spectrum of fun, learning or service oriented events to address the interests. From history classes and nature walks, to games, or lunch and dinner, to symphony events.

Library / Resource Center

Our library has many wonderful books just waiting to be read and lived by you. Come pick up a few and sit and enjoy out under the tree or on the Veranda. Access to high speed computers for research, internet access and email is available for all to utilize. Classes and training are also available for those not familiar with these services but willing to learn.

Dining

Perhaps no other experience plays as vital a role in one's overall attitude and well-being as that of an enjoyable dining hour.  Home-style cooking and a warm, comfortable atmosphere compliment the delicious meals prepared on premises by our professional staff in our beautiful main dining room in the Barney Greathouse Activities Building. 

Beauty / Barber Shop

A Privately owned Hair Salon with three separate locations on the Manor Park campus makes it easy for those who live here to get their personal hair cares needs taken care of beautifully and so close to home.

Jacuzzi

An oversized heated Jacuzzi is available for all residents to do pool exercises or to just enjoy the comfort and relaxation of the warm water at their leisure.

Pharmacy

Professional Pharmacy with owner Eric Neal, RPH is located on the Manor Park campus for convenience and service for all residents. Personal old-fashioned one on one service allows residents to have a pharmacist they can depend on and who will know them and their needs. Eric is able to address medication and insurance needs quickly and economically.

Gift Shop

Owner, Lisa Neal, of Lisa's Gift Shoppe has a fun and great place to browse and buy trendy decorator items and gifts. Lisa has everything from candy bars and soft drinks to jewelry, cards, and lovely home-warming items. It is exciting to have a near-by gift store to treat yourself or have items for all occasions for a quick or a thoughtful caring gift purchase.

Childcare

An alliance with our active Midland Community College has allowed Manor park to expand of our "generations" as a segment of the college's childcare program is housed on our campus providing an opportunity for employee childcare as well as the spark and activity associated with these yougsters has expanded the "life" and enjoyment of the residents as well.

A New Addition to Our Campus

As of March 2008, another dining venue is providing residents with the opportunity to dine. The Margaret Cowden Clubhouse and the Deane Stoltz Wildcatter's Grill are beautiful additions to our already active campus and lifestyle in The Village at Manor Park. Located at on the east side of the campus another venue is available for residents to gather with friends for activities and private parties. A new menu to enjoy breakfast at any time in the day as well as hamburgers, sandwiches and a variety of grab-n-go items are also available to all residents and their guests.
