Here at The Village at Manor Park, we take an innovative approach to caring for elders in the later stages of life. From comprehensive nursing care to meeting the special needs of those with dementia, our staff knows how to ensure days here are anything but conventional.
We offer a unique approach to caring creating enlivening environments and helping people grow. For people who have been pet owners, the care and enjoyment of our resident pets can be an important part of daily activity. Gardeners have an opportunity to care for a myriad of indoor and outdoor plants in our beautiful courtyards. We offer a refreshing alternative to the institutional environment generally associated with nursing home stays. Our goal is to provide a vibrant, loving home.
An alliance with our active Midland Community College has allowed Manor park to expand of our "generations" as a segment of the college's childcare program is housed on our campus providing an opportunity for employee childcare as well as the spark and activity associated with these yougsters has expanded the "life" and enjoyment of the residents as well.
Sprinkled throughout the various buildings and facilities aquariums and aviaries also add elements homelike aspects to daily living at The Village at Manor Park.

The Mabee Health Care Center offers a full spectrum of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in a lovely home-like and resident-centered environment. All levels of nursing care are provided including gastroenteral feeding, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies. As a licensed nursing home, we take great pride in creating a loving environment for our elders. We continuously expand our programs to ensure elders thrive and enjoy life. In addition to encouraging visits by family and friends, we welcome children and pets to our elders' world. Children visit almost daily from the Midland College Child Daycare Center located at The Village at Manor Park. They are welcome and entrenched members of our community.
At the John F. Younger Alzheimer's Care Center, elders are warmly cared for in the state-of-the-art, highly secured environment. The entire staff is specially trained in Validation Therapy, a proven Alzheimer's treatment initiative authored by noted therapist Naomi Fiel.
To ensure a clear understanding of the varied and complex needs of dementia elders, our staff receives extensive ongoing training. A comfortable, home-like environment reminiscent of the elder's past has been incorporated into floor plans which encourage walking in secure areas. The building is designed to allow strolling inside or walking outside within the courtyard on nice weather days.
Our clinical affiliation with Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center gives us access to the latest information and research and provides the opportunity for participation in research studies into the causes and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
