Each September, World Alzheimer’s Month unites communities worldwide in a mission to raise awareness about dementia, challenge stigma, and promote support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. At Manor Park, we proudly join this global initiative with our commitment to wellness, compassionate care, and lifelong learning across our expansive, 83-acre Life Plan Community.
This year’s theme, “Brain Health for All,” encourages prevention, early diagnosis, and supportive care. At Manor Park, these values underpin everything—from our intimate memory support neighborhoods to our full continuum of on‑campus care.
Alzheimer’s disease is the leading cause of dementia, progressively impairing memory, cognitive function, and daily living. This journey deeply impacts not only individuals, but also their families and caregivers. Although no cure exists, knowledge, early intervention, and enriched environments—like those provided at Manor Park—make a meaningful difference in quality of life.
Here’s how our residents, families, and community can come together to make an impact:
As Midland’s only nonprofit Life Plan Community, Manor Park has been dedicated to enriching the lives of adults aged 62 and older for over half a century—offering independence, security, and choice across all stages of life. From independent living to assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services—all delivered with compassion and expertise—Manor Park ensures residents receive the care they need, precisely when they need it.
Join us this September in recognizing World Alzheimer’s Month at Manor Park. Together, we can foster better understanding and compassion for all affected by Alzheimer’s.
